The most timid of all the small birds that visit. I always feel some elation when I manage to photograph one.

They look so much like our chickadees, who are the friendliest birds at the feeders.

He's taking a bow too.
Paul Brentnall: Probably the most skittish and shy of our small birds Mary.

Funny little bird ... My youngest daughter fell in love with him ...
Paul Brentnall: They are very cute but so fast it is rare for me to get a shot like this one.

Such a small bird
Paul Brentnall: The smallest of all my visitors

Nice capture. Impressive sharpness with a focal length of 340mm!
Paul Brentnall: I find that I get optimum sharpness between 340 and 360. That's from a 400 lens

and i will certainly go along with Billsmile all i see in my back garden is the odd pigeon and magpie,
Paul Brentnall: Even the Pigeon looks great when photographed close up Tim and the true colours of a Magpie surprises a lot of people. They aren't quite so black and white as they first appear.
